The Farmers Arms at West Hatch is a traditional 16th century inn with bar, bedrooms, a restaurant and tea rooms.
Opening at 11.00 am for morning coffee and cakes it then stays open all day providing meals from 12 noon until 2.00 pm and again from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm for meals, with a variety of dishes to choose from including homemade burgers, fillet steaks and fresh fish.
The Farmers Arms is just a short drive from Junction 25 on the M5 making it an ideal location for business meetings, and with the ability to cater for up to 30 people we can run private functions, events and weddings.
The 5 luxury bedrooms are well appointed, exquisite rooms, some large and some huge, with antique furniture and wooden floors - all en-suite with roll top baths. All 5 are individually designed rooms, some with sitting areas, and one with its own courtyard. The amazing views over the Somerset levels are well worth waking up to.
The light and airy restaurant overlooks the garden, where you can enjoy a full 3 course meal or something lighter. All food from bar snacks to our à la carte menu is imaginatively cooked using many locally sourced ingredients.
Traditional afternoon teas are served between 3.00 pm and 5.30 pm. Served on 3 tier stands, the teas have a choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Celebrate with a glass of fizz any day of the week!
